Online vs. Offline

Online, I am a very different person compared to offline. Typically, online I  have more important to say and I use correct grammar most of the time. I tend to see what others are doing and talk about the day and our homework. Offline, I will say less meaningful things and laugh around with my friends.

  1. Maddie,
I agree with you about the offline thing because you can make jokes way easier with your friends in front of you.

  2. I completely agree with you that online you want to present yourself to others in a respectable way and talk about more important topics, but in real life, we don’t really put effort to make our conversations meaningful.

  3. I totally agree with your ways of presenting yourself online as opposed to offline, Maddie. Online, it is much more common to use proper grammar where as offline teenagers use slang and joke around all the time. In addition, what kind of words might you use offline that you wouldn’t use online?
